Diplomats Stir-Fry Milk,Captivating Foreign Friends with Shunde Cuisine

On September 25, 2025 FOSHAN Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience and Exchanges was held at the Shunde OCT Harbour PLUS, Foshan. This theme of international exchange has been celebrated in Foshan for six consecutive years.

Officials and family members from consulates in Guangzhou, representing countries such as Nigeria, Turkey, Uruguay, Mexico, Belgium, the United States, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia, gathered to experience the charm of Cantonese cuisine in the world-renowned food capital of Shunde.

As the saying goes, "Eat in Guangzhou, cook in Fengcheng." Renowned chef Wang Fujian demonstrated the art of stir-frying milk, with the Belgian consul quickly becoming an apprentice.

Water buffalo milk with a soft stir-fry technique to create a snow-white, fluffy texture. Crushed almond nuts enhance the flavor, and it can even be enjoyed with potato chips—an exquisite fusion of East and West!

The event featured a culinary competition showcasing dishes like Spanish paella, 5J ham meatballs, Mexican tacos, and Korean grilled eel. Foreign friends enthusiastically gave thumbs-up while enjoying the diverse array of international cuisine.

A calligraphy master showcased his skills, allowing foreign attendees to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture firsthand as they held brushes and practiced.
